Xperia Z: Sleep of Death? or Dead?

Hi

My XZ was fine till yesterday. It had some low battery and suddenly, I realized it has shut down. I tried to charge it for several hours, but the LED is not responding. I have updated the firmware recently with Android 4.2 if I remember it correct.

Can anyone kindly provide me a solution of this problem?

i charge my handphone and after 10 minutes the LED off and when i look the phone it only charge 5%. is this sleep of death. then, i try to follow up the phone to make charge full. but it takes more than 8hours to charge and i must check every 10minute to make the LED on and charge.

The same happened to me, I just changed the battery and my phone started working again, even if maaaany said it'd be useless to change it.

I had the same problem. 
Thank you, to all the people that suggested the solution (pressing the buttons at the same time).
My question is: Why did it happen? Does anyone know?
