The software update failed !!

Hi,

I got a notification yesterday on my sony Xperia Z3, asking for an update using Sony PC Companion, i did it and then it said that a network problem has occured, and from that point on, when i try to power the phone it says " the software update failed, make sure the phone is connected to the computer and try again "

I tried the "power button + volume up" when charging, the phone started powering on and off all the time and after an hour it got really hot ! I was so scared so I unplugged it. An now i ran out of solutions. 

Please tell me I didn't lose my 1 month old Z3 already, please.

Try to add from Program files and select the executable.

Do you know how making a gard reset if the phone it is no working (turn on)? and without using PC companion, or using it on a different way

Sorry,you cannot do it without PC companion.Could you try on a different computer?

Sometimes I've found disabling driver signature verification on boot can get it past random errors.
Works with drIver issues on flashtool too

On average the update file size is 1.18GB
