Lollipop not showing notifications on lock screen

After upgrading to Lollipop, notifications does not show on the lock screen at all. I use pin-code as security, notifications is set to "Show all notification content". Something I'm missing here?

Could solve the problem by using MAILWISE app (first install & configure Mailwise, then uninstall ActiveSynch account)!

I tried Sony support re this issue (on a Z1 Compact), asking when I could expect an update to resolve the issue, and all they would tell me to do was do a software repair via PC Companion. I tried to get them to say whether this was a known resolution to the issue or not - the response was that this isn't a know or common problem... hmmmm.

Did the software repair, discovered how crap the PC Companion backup and restore is, and discovered that it had made no difference. I wasn't surprised. Replied to Sony Support  repeating my original question... no response.

I've gone with the Outlook app for now. Means that I don't get my work and personal calendars integrated, but they are at least all on the phone and notifications are working fine.

I'm sorry to hear that.

We've enabled notifications when using ActiveSync for Z1 Compact as well in the latest update, 14.5.A.0.270, that's rolling out now. But remember that you may need to remove the ActiveSync account after the update and then add it again.

Try MAILWISE, calendar and contact synch works fine as well.

Hi,

i already installed 14.5.A.0.270 with fresh ftf, and after enabling activesync account the screen didn't come up when a notification is received. Yes i got the message and the message is displayed on locked screen, but the screen itself is not enabled to show the locked screen and also the notification. Is this a configuration mistake from my side, or is this a feature as it is?

Hooray, got the new update on my Z1 compact from Vodafone UK this morning and all the lock screen/exchange issues are fixed, thank god for that!

The display will not turn on for notifications i'm afraid. You may however be able to find 3:rd party apps that does this for you. If the display did turn on before you updated the phone you must have had an app for that as it doesn't do that by default.

It seems like my post keeps getting deleted?  This is the third time that I am having to post this to get information.  Is there an update on the firmware fix for the xperia Z3 Dual? The fix for the d6603 has been out for several weeks now, and still no fix that I can find for the d6633.  Any updates?
