@Sony: Please provide this update ASAP in Austria (It's a free device, so not operator dependent). I can't use the Phone without Notifications 😕 I'm using my old Samsung now (which still works as excpected!)
Latest Version in Austria is 23.1.A.0.690 - Or is there any other way to get the bugfix faster?
@Rickard wrote:As i mentioned before, we have changed this in 23.1.A.0.726 but depending on where you bought the phone you may not have received this update yet as we may need local and operator approvals before we can release the update.
We have also started rolling out a new version today: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Software-Updates/New-Android-5-0-Lollipop-firmware-update-for-the-Xper...
But after the update you may need to remove the account and add it again.
I am aware of release 23.1.A.0.726 fixing this issue as you write in your post. In the meantime here in Denmark update 23.1.A.1.28 has been rolled out to our Compact z3. This update does however not solve the problem. The version number seems to be higher than the one fixing the issue so we are kind of puzzled why this version doesn't fix the problem. We have of course tried to delete and reinstall our Exchange accounts.
Can you confirm that 23.1.A.1.28 is a newer release than 23.1.A.0.726 and/or that 23.1.A.1.28 contains a fix for the notification problem?
23.1.A.1.28 is a newer version than 23.1.A.0.726 and it also displays notifications when ActiveSync enforces a lock so that sounds very strange. Just removing the ActiveSync account and adding it again should make it display your notifications.
What happens if you remove the account and reboot the phone? Do you see notifications then (without the account)?

Thank you very much for that tip Rickard and a quick reply by the way. That actually made all the difference. Now everything works perfectly!
For other users. If it does not work after uninstalling and installing your active sync account then try to uninstall your active sync account and then reboot before installing it again.

Rickard, is 23.1.A.0.726 suitable for Z3 dual 6633, or there will be other soft version for it?
thanks,
Dear all,
I have the same problem with the notifications not showing up on the lockscreen if the Active Sync account is installed.
(Sony xperia z1 compact, build 14.5.A.0.242.)
Uninstall Active Sync account - Reboot -> notifications showing up on lock screen!
Install Active Sync account - Reboot -> notifications NOT showing up on lock screen anymore!
A solution would be very much appreciated!
Many thanks
Adrian
Hello! I just got an update to build .726 on my Xperia Z3 in PL within Plus operator. I had my ActiveSync account removed on Z3 because I have also Xperia Z1 which I used with my business activites. I updated Z3 to .726, added ActiveSync and now everything seems to work fine.
But... It was too long, I wrote two e-mails directly to Sony Support without any answer. Time to switch to other device from Sony Xperia flag smartphones. Support is tragic.
br,
klex
Yes, support is tragic. Several time asked a question regarding update for Z3 dual and received no answer. Very dissapointed.
