Hi
I connected my Xperia Z5 Premium to the Garmin fenix 3 via Bluetooth. It works, but sometimes the fenix 3 will be disconnected. Sometimes it will be connected after a while and sometimes I have to disable and enable bluetooth on my sony.
What could be the problem?
Thank you
Received my Z5 Premium yesterday and experience the exact same behaviour with my Fenix 3.
I just went to here to open a thread and found yours.
Strange thing is, with my Z5 Compact before I had no such issues.
No, Stamina Mode is disabled.
Try disabling "Queue Background Data" under Power Management.
Tried a hard reset of the phone and even a hardreset of the Fenix 3 watch. Nothing helped.
The connection breaks and reestablishes without any sensemaking pattern.
Since the Fenix vibrates on any connection change, it's not even possible to sleep with it because it wake me up one it vibrates.
I now had to manually cut the connection between both devices. This is not optimal because now I get no smart notifications.
Hope that Sony resolves this bluetooth-issue because on every other phone it works fine!
I still have the problem. Sometimes it disconnects/connects about every minute.
If the phone disconnects the garmin, then I can open the app "BLE Tool" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lapis_semi.bleapp). Then the fenix 3 will be listed and the phone will connect immediately.
Does Sony read this forum? Can you fix this problem, please?
