Hi
I connected my Xperia Z5 Premium to the Garmin fenix 3 via Bluetooth. It works, but sometimes the fenix 3 will be disconnected. Sometimes it will be connected after a while and sometimes I have to disable and enable bluetooth on my sony.
What could be the problem?
Thank you
I have the same problem with my Z5/fenix 3
Any Sony people reading this???
Please give some advice on what to do? I think complaining on social media is usually not a good idea, but the lack of response from Sony is very frustrating, please help.
Lars
Hi all,
I have the Z5/ Fenix connectivity issue too. Or I did... but may have fixed it.
I uninstalled the AVG anitvirus software that came on my Z5 as standard and all of a sudden my bluetooth connectivity with my Garmin is almost perfect. 3 days so far. It is a noticable improvement to what I have experienced prior to this.
Can people give it a try and see if they find the same thing?
Hope this helps
Hi.
I have the same problem with my Z5/Fenix 3, very frustrating.
Are any Sony staff reading and working on this issue?
My last experience is, the restart of Z5C solve the reconnecting the Fenix 3 for some time but after day (sometimes a half day) it goes to disconnect - connect again and another restart of Z5C would be needed.
Z3C worked proper!

HI,
According to my understanding from the support list from Garmin, both watch and phone is not tested and comfirmed by neither watch or cell phone manufacturer such as the Z5 which is listed on the very bottom of the list.

Perharps you may also want to contact garmin to see if there will be any update for the watch or patch to fix it?
Since Android 6 the problem has gone :smileysmileythumbsup:
Hello,
I have Germin Fenix 3 Titanium + Sony Z3 compact Android 6.0.1
I had the same problems as were described in this topic, no any way to piar it.
I would like to save your efforts about this.
The source of problem:
I switched off authomatic upgrade of my phone via "play market".
Solution:
1) I upgraded all my Adnroid apps via Play Store - All of them
So, all google kernel apps were upgraded to latest.
2) Restart phone
Try to pair again - it works perfect for me. So, the real issue here - you should have latest google kernel of your android via "play market".
Hope this helps,
Thanks.
