There is no virus made for sony phones so don't use them, they are just meant to slow down your handset, If you really need them then avg is the best

There is no virus made for Sony handsets?!
Tough to believe, but I guess we should keep it a secret lest someone (some hacker) gets a bad idea to try it.

then you might get your hands on avg antivirus.

Thanks a lot braydencooper067.
I got the link via Google Play.

Had a Sam***g phone a couple of years back that went blank. The service center said it is a virus attack. Of course that phone ran Java (which I believe is more susceptible to viral fever than Android).

I wonder why they say that, because there is no virus for JAVA either, it may be because of some corrupt files and can be repaired easily by updating your phone.

Why do you think android phones won't get viruses or infections?

I guess it's because people think Linux can't get them or is it that when they do get them it's not as widely reported as say Windows based machines.

Well I'm sorry to say but Linux and android are not virus proof and can get them - these hackers etc you speak of have and do infect phones so unknown to you your phone will ring premium numbers thus giving you the user a high phone bill - By all means read and search the net and there are hundreds if not more forums about this issue and it has also been reported by Android Magazine,

So please don't think your phones are virus proof and AVG is not the best search for the bench test results made by aprooved independant research companies

How wrong you are luckily I do this for a living and I am a Security expert and look after the security of many businesses

The word Malware is short for malicious software, and is a general term used to describe all of the viruses, worms, spyware, and pretty much anything that is specifically designed to cause harm

But obviously I know nothing guess my 12 years as a security expert working for both the UK forces and civilian businesses means nothing
