For all those with battery problems,try this and see what happens

My friends, i can see you have many problems with the batery life. I don't know if any of you has noticed this, but when the phone is charging and it reaches 100%, you shouldn't remove the charger. The phone is still charging even after reaching 100%,sometimes for half an hour. If you want to see when the phone is fully charged, go to Settings-About phone-Phone status. In the first field you can find if the phone is or is not fully charged. Try this and let's see what happens. I hope i can help some of you.

Hi Alexdon! Thank you for suggestions abt the apps and games. I'll try those, and find some good apps suited for Xperia P. I have a question, do you root and unlock your phone? I'm just curious abt those process :smileygrin: And for some updates abt my phone, it lasted abt 3 days, with little games and wifi. More on texting and taking calls :smileygrin:

My phone is not rooted,and i do not intend to,for now.I still have warranty,and i am pleased with it.Maybe if we get JB,i will be even more pleased.Take good care of your phone,it is very special.

Yes,the battery is small and the os does not manage it the right way,those are the battery problems.It depends on what you want to use the phone for,you can get from several hours to 2-3 days depending on what you are doing with it.

Hi All,

I am a heavy user of the phone, havin constant 3G/Wifi conection, playing audio/video and games often.

But just 18 hrs of battery is simply not justified, used to have over 24 hrs before.

I have "Extended Standby Mode" on.

I suspect the battery has gone faulty, is there any way to check tht?

I think it is software bug.

The battery drained to 9%. I attached charger, charged it till 15%, then restarted the phone with charger attached.

And voila, battery level was 65% after restart.

Can someone suggest howto get rid of this!!!

The battery does make some problems,it shows sometimes the wrong amount left,i do not think it can really be fixed,even with repairing and factory setttings reset.It is from the software,from our version of ICS.

I notice it too man,im having problems with battery percentage but its ok and still tolerable
