Z5 no longer shows the number of notifications I have on each app

Since I have updated to Marshmallow last night, my Z5 no longer shows the number of notifications I have on each app 😞 Anyone else have this problem? Notifications still appear in the notifications bar but not on the apps themselves (the little number).

Uliwooly do u work for Sony or something,I'm sure Sony can work with a massive company like Facebook that owns whatsap not a big deal,regardless of how many apps are out there on play store,not all software updates affect apps like games and so on

My brother recently updated his Samsung S6 to Marshmallow and he has all badge notifications as before, so guessing it's a Sony only problem.

It's something related to API inside Brand New Xperia Launcher !

All developers should be contacted about this things

For example : I got in contact with "MyMail" and they told me that yet knew about this thing and were working on it !

U can do the same for other apps

I upgraded from a Z1 compact to Z5 compact.  I was using Textra as my messaging app as it gave me the ability to make text much larger, however after the upgrade to marshmallow it no longer shows the number of unread messages on the Textra app - although it will do so on the default messaging app.  So my choice is either not know if I have any messages but be able to read them or know that I have unread messages but have to put on my reading glasses.  Can anyone either tell me how to make the text bigger on the default app or give me back the notification badge on Textra?

This is clearly a Sony issue that they not bothering to do anything to resolve

This thing is annoying I have the same problem too and I tried all reinstall my whatsapp still

Sony needs to solve this API problem. All non-Sony apps lost this functionality and apparantly the app developers give no priority to it. In the future maybe first communicate these kind of changes to developers so there is a smooth transition?

I've even tweeted a message to Sonyxperia twice and no response,a shame cause marshmallow works well apart from that issue
