Xperia Z5c going into totally quiet mode after Marshmallow upgrade

I've just upgraded my Z5c to Marshmallow and my phone now goes into "totally quiet" mode by itself just sitting there between 10pm and 10.30pm at some stage. I only have one Smart Connect event configured for 11pm to turn off mobile data, so it's not that.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this as I am supposed to be on call and I actually need to be able to get phone calls at night.

Hi gembrook,

Welcome to the community,

Sorry to hear this, what I think may be going on here is a Do Not Disturb setting, however, it should not have turned on its own. Have a look in the following section.

Apps > Sounds & Notifications > Do Not Disturb > Automatic Rules >  Check the rules by selecting them and turn them off if they are on.

Let us know how you get on.

Double check that night mode is not enabled, if needed go into sttings- apps- smart connect and clearing the cache and data to completely wipe it

Thanks, that was it. No idea how or why it turned on. I do use a Smart Connect Event , but that only turns mobile data off.

Have you accidentaly set a rule for the "Do Not Disturb" function?

Pull down notifications, Do Not Disturb, More Settings, Automatic Rules

@Recoba33

If you don't experience this in safe mode then it is indeed a third party app acting up, no way to know which, I would just back up everything and repair the phone with XC
