My z3 is not water proof

Today i went to sea with my z3 and i checked the flips us correctly closed .
I bought the mobile from saudi arabia
After 30 second the goes off.
Is that acommon problem.
And whst ican do now

First thing try to remove microSD and SIM from your device,open all the flaps and place it somewhere to dry off. Put it in a warm place, maybe in a bowl of rice. Do not charge it.

But I also want to point out that the phone should never be exposed or immersed to salt water. The device should always be kept away from sea water. More info about this can be found at the following link:

It says nothing in the instructions about staying away from salt water,, is this a massive flaw in their phone??

Sorry found the part that says never imerse in salt water,,, but shouldn't it say in the advert ( z3 waterproof phone, but not in saltwater) !!!!

That should be obvious,there are other minerals in salt water,it is corrosive.

my phone is damaged because of water despite of follwing all rules to put in water... it is sony responsibility
