Hi!
I recently bought 6 Xperia Z1 to the company and now we can´t hear eachother anymore.
There´s constant brakes and after a minute or two the voice disappears completly and there´s
nothing to do but to end the call.
What to do?
Best regards/ Christine

I also noticed that if I want to track id a song from tune in radio it does not work... Please advice. My phone has been updated to the newest version of android 4.3. Im assuming the mic gets interference when the loud speaker is on. if i track id a song from my laptop it works perfectly fine. My xperia S was better than the z1 i am bit dissapointed with all the issues i am encountering with the z1
the issue was there when i was on 4.2... i thought upgrading would solve the problem but the issue continues.. im just going to take it to the vodafone store and get them to check and see if they are able to swap it for a new one. there is alot of background noise specially when i am speaking using loud speaker.. also track id is not working if i am trying to get something playing on tune radio .. used to work fine with my xperia s .. i think there could be a hardware fault so going to see what vodafone can do for me. sony isnt bothered replying to any of our queries really dissapointed
i even reinstalled the firmware to see if there's anything to do that, but that dint solve it. there is still interference when i am on loud speaker.im sending mine for repairs tomorrow hopefully they can fix this mic issue or replace the phone with a new one if they are able to fix it, plus one of my waterproof caps fell off when i opened the cap to charge the phone, i was able to put it back in but i dont no if its water proof or not anymore..yea same the mic issue has really disappointed me.. i have wasted alot of time with this phone .. you should get your phone checked since its under warranty
It seems odd to suggest updating software as there is no updated software version out of the box. I do believe the others here would agree that a software update won't fix a hardware issue in any event. Also I find it hard to believe all issues on this post are from people who clipped their sim cards, I didn't, therefore this suggestion solved nothing. Also not sure why someone would pay at least 250$ on a contract to jam a clipped sim card in the slot. My guess: Sony doesn't want to admit their "flagship" phone has these issues, although there are some that work fine.
when i bought my phone the version was 4.2 so i had to upgrade mine to 4.3 , my sim card was a micro sim that came with the contract, yes i also agree that it is some hardware issue.. o well the phone has been sent for repairs i will update once they get back to me with an update, probably they will say everything is fine...... when clearly not it is not..
