The Next Screen App workaround works, but it really doesn't make much sense to add an extra lock screen.
With Next Screen I have to swipe their lock screen away, and the swipe again on the default Sony lock screen, before I can enter my PIN.
This is a really annoying issue. I wonder if Sony are working on a fix.. If not, my company phone just became a whole lot less useful.
Agree. Do we all need to do Next Screen App as a workaround, or will an update come within a week?
I doubt an update will come within a week.
For all we know, Sony might not even consider this a bug.
We haven't heard anything regarding this issue since a supporter addressed the issue earlier in this thread and said they would investigate further.
Any news on this issue? This is very annoying!
I'm having the same bug/problem with no notification showing up on my lock screen - related to an ActiveSync account.
It's now a week since the first post related to this issue, and it would be in place to get some new feedback on this issue from Sony.
Last replay from official hold was 2015-03-19.
Will it be fixed, or do we all have to install a third-party lock screen as a workaround?

Please fix this! How can I use a phone I don't even see if someone has called me without having to unlock the phone. This is ridiculous. I tried to use a third party lock screen, but I ended up with two lock screens, first the Sony lock screen which does not show any notifications and then the third party lock screen. So this did not help me at all.
I have always liked android systems since it gives you more customisation options than an iphone, but I don't think so anymore.
I really would appreciate some respons from you.
I've spoken to sony support about this and all they said was they'll forward this "somewhere", no contact since that. No updates from sony in this thread either.
REALLY dissappointing.
Sony - you could atleast tell us if you are NOT going todo anything about this, so we can then advice our users to stop buying these devices and switch to other brands which do not have this issue.
Sony, any work in progress regarding this? I was really happy with my phone up until this, but if this don't get fixed I am gonna have to change my phone.
