Whish I read this before. I also have the same problem.
I rely on notification from kalendar and email/sms in my daily work. Yesterday I missed both meetings and incoming SMS.
When can we expect a solution?

OK, I think I can verfy that the activesync account (with enforced security) is the problem. After removing the account, the notifications started working just fine. After adding the account again, the notifications stopped working. Also testet on the Z2, same result. So what do we do next?

I'm having the same problem, on my Z2.
I have two activeSynch accounts that I need so I hope this will be sorted out quickly.

When the PIN is enforced you will not see notifications on the lock screen. I suspect that's how it's intended to work as the enforced PIN is there to protect company data but i will forward the feedback internally.
It may perhaps work if you download a 3:rd party ActiveSync client but i do recommend that you check with your IT-department if this is allowed.

I do not agree at all.
There is a setting for that to
- block
- priority
- sensitive
I do understand that mail or that some information should be classed as sensitive but now ALL notifications are blocked. Even LED signal
A solution for me is to get the old notification back where a icon appears in the task bar and a LED flash.
But as it is now I find the phone and the sync which I rely on in my work quite useless.

I have the very same problem as Gunslinger & yoxler and if this issue is not resolved I cannot use this phone in the future because I will miss a lot of important notifications. It gives me no other choice than to roll back to KitKat or more probable change to an iPhone. For me this is a very serious issue and I think many users who have company phones with forced Activesync passwords will find this unacceptable!
Another thing that annoys me a lot is that it now it takes one more action in order to turn on the phone from standby. 1. Wake phone by sidebutton or double clicking the screen. 2. Swiping screen upwards. 3. Entering numeric code. Before the upgrade I did not have to swipe the screen!
These two problems combined makes the situation umbareable due to the fact that I need to turn on the phone all the time to see if there are any new notifications.
A solution to this would be very welcome!

I cannot use my work phone at work, perhaps it is a lollipop thing and not a Sony implementation of lollipop but still this is so bad.
How do I revert and remove lollipop?
