Guys,
I realise some of you have mentioned that you're not allowed to use 3rd Party Apps, so this may not be applicable for everyone.
Although using the gmail app and adding an exchange account fixes this!
Hope this helps someone...
I see Sony Support has mentioned that if the activesync is active, notifications will not be shown on the locked screen as its supposed to work this way on Lollipop.
I disagree with this statement as it used to work on Kitkat. I've had activesync ever since I got this device, when it had Jellybean and it worked like a charm. Why the notifications are not being shown now?
This needs te be fixed ASAP. I understand that using a thrid party app will solve this problem, but then whats the use of the stock app then?
Please let me know an anticiapted time on the resolution.
I can confirm that it works now with the stock app after installing the apk.
What I did:
1. delete ALL outlook echange accounts in the mail app
2. reboot device
3. setup outlook exchange accounts again
Works fine now.
Build 23.1.A.0.726
Actually, after the notifications work now, I must say I find the new Lollipop functionality fantastic.
You see the email, SMS etc. on the lock-screen, double tap on it, enter the pin code and voila. And you can decide how much info the apps shall show.
It's really great.
