Lollipop not showing notifications on lock screen

After upgrading to Lollipop, notifications does not show on the lock screen at all. I use pin-code as security, notifications is set to "Show all notification content". Something I'm missing here?

This is plain stupid... A notification is a notification. It's not something that should be hidden. This has to be a bug or someone not thinking the clearly when implementation this and I really hope it gets fixed soon. It's really annoying!

Indeed a very anoying bug which needs to be fixed !  Frogmasters workaround (MailWise) however fixes the problem for the time being. My company enforces Security and only PIN-code is allowed. This in combination with ActiveSync causes the problem.

So far MailWise works pretty good, so maybe the workaround will become my permanent solution :-).

I tried Mailwise too. It did not work for me wrt to the notifications; still no icons on locked screen.

it worked fine for me! Did You however remove the account from the mail client and change the security settings for lock screen before installing MailWise?

robert24,

Go to settings/security/Device administrators, and disable the E-mail client as a device administrator.

I have the same problem, but I can't  disable the e-mail device administrator, since then I loose my work e-mail. I don't even see missed calls on the locked screen...

Just wanted to say thanks to the folks who recommended Mailwise. I set it up with my mail accounts (include corporate ones that are controlled by Active Sync) and deleted my  corporate account in native email. Notifications now work perfectly. Using a Z2 and beginning to enjoy it again.

Hi,

Same issue here on my Z2. I would really not like to use a third party mail-app, and Outlook for Android is banned at our company.

I am eagerly awaiting a solution.

At the beginning of this thread Sony was commenting, but since it became obvious that it is a bug no more comments from Sony has appeared.

Sony, are you still reading this?

I also use my Z3 as a work phone, and this bug is very annoying! - Its like I cannot rely on my phone anymore.

Please at least acknowledge the problem, so we can hope for a fix!

I use the Next Screen App as a workaround until Sony gets this bug fixed.
