Headset connected notification

Is there a notification for a wire connected headset when plugged in the port?

I´m not sure but when i´m connecting a sony sth30 headset on my z3 there is no notifcation...my z4 tablet shows me a "headset connected" notification i plugged in...

Is this a bug? Maybe this is a problem of latest firmware?

Hi @SirRobin,

I just tried in an updated Xperia Z3 and got a notification from Smart Connect saying I have a headset connected. Have you tried clearing data for the Smart Connect app? If not, go to Settings > Apps > ... > Show system > Smart Connect > Storage > Clear data. Then reboot your phone and reconnect your headset.

Ok, done this. 

Got a notification "Connected Headset - Tab to set automatically actions if accessory is connected" - is this the message you´ve got?

Also, there is no additional headset icon like nfc or bluetooth as on the tablet z4?

One last question, you´ve also NO headset icon while connected? There is a icon on my tablet z4 so i thought this also must be on my z3...

There can be some differences in software between models, so a feature on one model might not work the same way on another one.

Ok, fine - thank you Slightly_smiling_Face

But one thing i´ve to mention: the smartkey application which is downloadable within smartconnect!

I can´t start the app through smartconnect in headset settings. i think this is a bug, right? Opening the app manually will work...
