Echo issues during phone call

The receivers always hear an echo from my phone, and the soud quality is bad.

I tried to change all the sound settings available, nothing works.

Anyone had same issue already ?

It is rubbish if a phone can't even do something as simple as make.phone calls!

Definitely agree. This subject is very hard for discussion. Moreover it is main phone feature which is not working properly at all.

For sure it´s hard to discuss.

But I think, that many users in this topic just changed their phone from whatever to the z2. All other variables like phone provider, environment, using cases or how someone holds his phone didn´t change.

So the assumption that the problem is the new z2 can´t be that wrong.

On my side I just switched from xperia z to xperia z2 and the call quality is ridiculous if I hold the phone in my hand.

On the other side talking through a bluetooth headset without touching the phone is nearly perfect.

It's a pain that the main functionnality : phone, doesn't work !

I can admit that problems sometimes happen. But to be honest, my phone is goen for 21 days now, without any spare phone lent. When I think about the price it costs, and I paid so much just to wait 3 weeks at least. I have several things in work i could not do because of that.

Echo are being caused because of water,if the mic have been in contact with water,you will need to let it dry for 3 hours or more depending on the climate,l think sony should have mention that in their manuel or guide..l don't know if it is the case for eveyone....hope it helps!

I have an excellent voice call quality and no issues at all, it's very clear and quite loud actually.

I have the same issue. And this is with my second Z2. The guys in the retailstore said (with a change to their SIM-card) that the sound quality was good. I don't agree. It's a static sound coming out on my end all the time during call, although if I raise the volume on the call it slightly disapears. But I still have the problem that everyone around me will hear my call because the of the high volume. Also the ones I call complains of a static noise/buzz and that my voice suddenly cuts. (Sometimes they said that it sounds like im in a barrel...)

Soulutions? Anyone?
