Echo issues during phone call

The receivers always hear an echo from my phone, and the soud quality is bad.

I tried to change all the sound settings available, nothing works.

Anyone had same issue already ?

Is this a software or hardware issue? Anyone knows?

Cause I don´t want to send my phone back to sony, if it´s only a software issue, which is hopefully fixed in the near future?!

Did you disable features like microphone noise suppression?

Sending mine back tomorrow due to sound quality..
I can't even remember how many times I've had to say I'm sorry for the sh!tty sound during last weeks calls..
But disabling one of the sale pitches (Noise Cancelling) to be able to use the phone... As a phone?

Waiting on updates about this issue. Just got a complaint about echo.

Solution:

I hade the echo problem and tried to fix this as described earlier in this topic without any sucess. However, I had to return the phone to my moblie operator and got a brand new one in return. The problem is solved - no echo problem remains.

Doryx, maybe i should have done like you, give it back to the operator. I'm waiting for 9 days. Not a big deal, exept that they didn't lend me a phone when i gave it back.

I need to test out my phone some more. Since it's not echoing always.. I wonder..

Having same issues. I am hearing buzzing/static in the background and callers complain of unclear line and echo. Stuck my sim in a galaxy s5 and call was perfect, its the handset. Got a replacement from three at the local shop I purchased the phone from and same issues remain. Tried everything and its still not working. Embarassing that I also have a 5 year old phone lying spare that has better call quality....

Also, half of the time my camera shuts down when taking photos as the phone is overheating. Pretty dissapointed, I had a faulty z1 compact a few weeks ago which was finally changed for a working one and now I am having issues with a Z2. Might stick back to Samsung if this can't get sorted.
