Battery drains faster with Lollipop

Has anyone else noticed that the battery drains faster with Lollipop, lasts now 2/3 of the time compered to before upgrade. All battery saving settings are set as before.

I am experiencing the same issue. I did an upgrade and also did a factory reset. Both have battery drain. It is caused by high battery usage by Google Play Services. This is a known issue in Lollipop/latest version of Google Play Services.

Anyone has the same observation? Anyone got a fix? Comments from Sony?

I have the same problem , i feel that with kitkat 4.4.4 the battery drains slower than with lollipop 5.0.2 .I dont really know why this happend , i could understand that is a new Operative System and it can drains more but my battery used to spend 3 days now just one or maybe two. How is this possible? I updated 2 weeks ago

hi everyone,

i have problem with the estimated battery time remaining (see attachments), for who don't understend because i'm italian, in the first image it says:

- "2 days and 5 hours" (2 days 18 hours in standby) without stamina on

while in the graph it says "5 hours remaining"

i think there's definitely a problem, in 2 hours my phone lost almost 20% charge with only 23min of screen time.
yesterday i tried i factory reset but nothing changed, any thoughts?

By the way, i bought this phone one week ago and upgraded to lollipop immediately so i can't compare the performances with kitkat.

My battery drains in no time. It was bad before, now it's a nightmare, I now have to carry two power packs to get me through a day, awful.

now less than 6 hours

I start to think to downgrade to kit kat 4.4.4 again

What did u do to get your battery back to normal?

I've recently updated lollipop in my sony z2. And now my phone battery is draining badly. I am very confused if this is only happening with me. I used my mobile to download the update. Please, I'd really appreciate some help or suggestion (if there is any!)

Reinstall lollipop with PCC, make sure that you delete everything
