Battery drains faster with Lollipop

Has anyone else noticed that the battery drains faster with Lollipop, lasts now 2/3 of the time compered to before upgrade. All battery saving settings are set as before.

Does anyone here encountering battery drain issue after 23.4.A.1.232 update? I charge mine twice a day unlike before it take longer more than a day.

Any tips sony support how to fix this problem except reinstalling software? or kindly raise this to your Developer to investigate the root caused.

Hi. I have had the battery drain problem for 2 months now. I do not use WiFi at all. I use all battery saving modes but it's just pointless

Same problem for me too after updating to lollipop and currently using 23.4.A.1.232
Battery wont last long for 12 hour and it takes 4 hour to charge the battery from 0 to 100, phone heat allot

Hallo, To me too after updated my Xperia Z to Lollypop, battery duration worse, and then after update also the build to 10.7.a.0.222 much worse, crash Apps, and also much more, immediately Phone go off and often no more able To restart I click on, it show logo... Then go off, many times. Cannot switch on!!! Seems battery unable To recharge

the I'm facing Terrible battery ddrain after the update.. Only using WiFi and autosync... No new apps installed... 60% battery discharged in 4 hours... Please help

Hi.. am having same issue with my Z. the android OS is eating up the battery since the lollipop update.. I dont know if sony is trying to solve the issue or it's just ignoring it. There are so many Z users who are facing this problem n we are not hearing anything from Sony's Side.. They dont even think that this is affecting their product image.

It appears this has not been resolved to the satisfaction of anybody.

I have just bought a brand new Z2 the other week. Part of the attraction is the quality of product that Sony produces. That I had a previous generation Sony-Ericsson Xperia prior to using iPhones. The advertised battery life was a big draw. It was living up to expectations as well over the first days with battery above 50% after a full days use. Then suddenly it was not even seeing the day past five o'clock. The phone was heating up when on standby and the battery continuing to drain. Issues also noticed with obtaining a gps location in google maps.

if this is the lollipop issue, I am considering returning this phone and getting a Samsung.

can somebody from Sony contact me directly and explain why the phone is not performing correctly? Reading through this thread has made me sad and angry about what appeared to be a good purchase.

I noticed this issue with latest 5.1.1 update. The battery drains from 100 % to 50% over night. I've turned off bluetooth, wlan, mobile data. The phone literally sits still for the night and still it drains. Hope this will be resolved soon.

When i update my Z3 with lollipop, the stamina mode is missing..the battery drain fast witbout the stamina mode setting.
