I have this problem also. phone shows full WLAN signal, but all apps tell me, that I am disconnected / there is no internet connection.
Manual disable and enable WLAN helps. But it freezes again after a short time.
Samsung S8 and Oneplus5 is working well.

Why has this issue still not been fixed?
I have the same problem this phone is for selfies only
switch to Samsung or Iphone
Same problem over here , connected to Wi-Fi no internet connection. Only on Xperia XZ premium I have that issue
I solved my issue....bought an iPhone! #sonysuck
was thinking the same ..all these solutions dont work and its for sure a software problem within the xz premium
why wait so long ??
Xperia xz premium was continually dropping WiFi at home as many here have described. I noticed that when it did connect (rarely, and only for minutes at a time) it was always on 5ghz. I spoke to the Internet provider and they split the home WiFi into separate 2.4 and 5ghz channels. The phone still has the same problems with the 5ghz when I try and connect to that, but works absolutely fine with the 2.4ghz channel.
I'm having this wifi dropping issue too... have tested in several access points and the behavior is the same... drops from time to time! what can I do to fix it ?
Just to give you guys an update on this problem and what I did..
Failed solution that I tried :
-Restarting the phone.
-Deleting saved WiFi and try to reconnect.
-Changing router settings.
Successful solution:
Factory resetting the phone.
But don't get your hopes up, it didn't work the first time and after the 3rd time I was going to give up but 4th time was the charm and since that day I never missed up with the WiFi setting (I never connect to a public WiFi, at least until I travel abroad).
But don't hate me if that doesn't work for you.
Cheers.
I've just bought an xz1 last week and I was not aware of this problem. I've had Sony phones for 10 plus years and never experienced anything so stupid in all my years of using them. If it cannot be rectified, I will be returning the handset and making a jump to Samsung. Bad format Sony, bad form! This is ridiculous.
