Hi this is my second post about camera after updating to Marshmallow.
I found that if you are currently using camera in portraid mode and you want to switch to anather apps, eventhough you are in portraid mode your Overview Button will show you recent app list in Landscape mode.
The Worst Part Is That I tested On Motorola Device, And It Is Working Fine On This Device.
So Please Fix This Bug.....
After installing 6.0, if I have the camera app running with the phone in portrait orientation, and tap the bottom right of the screen to switch to another app, the screen display always switches to landscape even though the phone is not in landscape. See attached screen shots, one when switching away from the camera app and the other when switching away from another app. This problem can be reproduced every time, and wasn't there before upgrading from 5.1.1 to 6.0.
Hi,
I've forwarded this interally for more information. I'll let you know as soon as i know more.
Too me with this behaviour
Great "bug" discovered
I just updated my Z5C to build 32.1.A.1.185, and the bug is still there - switching to overview from the camera app always puts the screen into landscape orientation.
Ok, so a few minutes ago my Z5 premium restarted itself. After the restart I opened the camera in portait mode and click the "Task Switching" button, the screen then auto-rotates to landscape and locks itself, despite being in portrait mode.
What I have noticed is that when the camera is launched (even if in portrait mode), it does a quick auto-rotate. See screenshots below taken in portrait mode. Notice the buttons at the bottom are rotated. Taking screenshots in portrait mode also come out rotated to landscape as well. Definitely some type of rotation bug when launching the camera.
I've tried booting into Safe Mode - same issue. Tried restarting... doesn't help. Any advice?
The information i got when i forwarded this internally is that this is how it's been designed to work so i'm afraid there's no change planned. I've forwarded your feedback regarding this though.
It is ABSURD!
It only concerns to add the auto-rotation of the soft keys of the navigation bar according to the orientation the device!
Why Sony doesn't care attentiion to this little details?
