Transfer of App from Phone Memory to SD Car

Hi,

I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.

I have installed few apps and games on the phone.

I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.

Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).

I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.

Would appreciate your solution on the above.

But with my Samsung with Andoid 4.3 i can use the App 2SD and copy the apps to my Sd Card..

This is a Sony Software Problem the SP they use the 16 giga 8 giga Intern and 8 as SD  so is no more sd cards possibel

and App dosent work...........

1. Samsung officially allows this on some of its models... This need some modification of original Android. And for example, Xperia Z, with some of the latest update, obtained this option already too. So, if Sony wanted this on Xperia SP...  We can hope... And wait for next update...

2. If Samsung (and all other brands) do not allows this on stock firmware, "root" of system is required. This is prerequisite of all applications like App2SD and many others. But this is not official alteration of system and void the warranty... And threatens the safety of all data in smartphone... It's your business :smileysmileywink:

Hi Jarda, you mentioned that XPZ has this option to move apps. Where could I find this option? When I first got the phone I didn't have an SD Card yet, but bought one recently (Class 10 32MB).

If you please could point out how I can move Apps or Apps Data to the SD-Card would be just great.

I don't want to root the phone for me it works quite fine.

Only having problems using the Fritz!Fon and My!Fritz apps but that's not so necessary.

Hi guys,

As SONY XPERIA SP is high end smartphone and there is a main drawback i found is "No option to send the apps to SD card". It leads to problem when we install some high graphics games n all like EA sports. Please update for this post if you have any other "Apps to SD" apps in android store which will support  this smartphone.

I want to ask why my display resolution in my xperia sp is 720x1180 instead of 720x1280..

Zulhamizan your display is indeed 720x1280 but since Sony want a flat finish,they put the home,recent apps and back keys(soft keys) within the display So the space took by the soft keys made the resolution turned into 720x1184 to be exact.Don't worry,each and every one of us experienced the same

Have also the same problem with my externam SD card; impossible to move apps to it;

what is the anxwer of Sony for this ?
