android.process.acore has stopped but i need backup

Hi,

There's a series of errors hat started appearing on my telephone, namely the: "the process android.process.acore has stopped", the wi-fi stopped, google play service stops, the contact list stops... Pretty much everything stops.

I need to make a back up of the contact list, the text messages and the sticky notes if possible.

I've been reading through this board for a couple of days now, but I haven't managed to find a useful solution.

The phone is fully updated.

When I try to back it up trough the PC companion, everything crashes.

When I try to copy anything to/from the phone in Windows Explorer, the Explorer crashes.

I can't open any app on my telephone because it crashes almost instantly.
The phone also often boots indefinitely on reset and has intermittent connection to the compiter

I'd be very grateful for any information on how to salvage the Contact list and Text messages!

You could try starting your device in safemode - So to do this press the power button untill the power off option appears then tap and hold the power off menu untill it says boot in safe mode or words to that effect and if that fails in giving the ability to save items then unfortunately the only other option is to either perform an unofficial manual flash but keeping data or officially perform a system repair

Hello again.
The solution has semi worked Slightly_smiling_Face

I followed this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658952

Initially, I tried to flush the cache but that didn't make any difference. After that the phone sat in the corner of the table for a few weeks out of frustration.

I picked it up again and flashed appslog and cache again, and rebooted into safe mode. That gave me about 5 minutes before everything started crashing again. So after I flashed it several times I managed to export the contacts on the SD card and used the Sony Companion for the SMS (I'm not 100% that it worked). I retyped the notes. It was still impossible to install or delete any app.

Thanks for your time and the kind reply. I hope it won't happen again.
