Transfer of App from Phone Memory to SD Car

Hi,

I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.

I have installed few apps and games on the phone.

I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.

Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).

I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.

Would appreciate your solution on the above.

I just own xperia sp and im so disappointed with this phone...what for is high end procesor and gpu with up to 32gb sdcard if you will not use it??? I did find some way of installing high end games using sdcard/android/obb but I find out it will not work for xperia sp coz xperia sp have sdcard1/android etc since it has a "1" in sdcard it will not work... what a piece of crap...

I am soooo disappointed with Sony and the Xperia SP. I thought I was going to sell off my HTC desire hd after getting the Sony Xperia SP but this is obviously not going to happen anymore. In fact, the HTC desire hd still crushed my sony, which is a real shame considering my old phone is over 3 years old.

How could they get it so terribly wrong. The camera is absolute nonsense and the one thing they could have got right as a trade off (i.e.. Transfer to SD card) is obviously a night mare. This is just a common fix with the right update in place.

Sony's story is beginning to look like the next Nokia because they also seem to be making the same mistakes. Listen to your customers Sony....

JB update limits users to transfer apps from internal memory to SD card. Download apps from Google Play Store directly to your memory card. You will get this option during the download process. In life, sometimes you cannot have everything.

If it's impossible to transfer apps to sd why is there a solution to do that? I'm talking about folder mount... Is a method for rooted phones. But if that method works why you say you can't do that?

My phone will not let me transfer apps and music to my SD card it comes up with internal storage 75% full transfer to SD card but it won't let me!

You can not transfer apps to your SD, this should explain it

the only alternative is to root your phone > use an app such as apps2sd or link2sd
