I've had the Xperia T3 for approx 18 months. In the last few weeks I have been getting a 'No sim card' or 'invalid sim card error'. At first I just took the sim out and put it straight back in, or turned the phone off/on which temporarily fixed the problem. However, it started happening more and more often and eventually there was no signal at all.
I phoned EE and ordered a replacement sim. This worked well for a few days before the problem started coming back. Pulling the sim in/out seemed to sort it temporarily again for a while. But once again, it's happening several times a day and now I can't get the sim to connect to the network at all.
I'm confident that the sim itself, isn't the problem because I've tried two now. I've also put the more recent sim card into another xperia phone and it worked fine on that device. I haven't unlocked the phone or changed providers. It's been an EE sim from the start.
What it the possible problem?

I'd suggest getting your phone inspected by a professional, it might be a hardware issue. Try contacting your Local support.

Hi chippy_250,
Welcome to the community.
This is really unfortunate and I'm sorry to hear this. However, I will try help as best I can.
Based on the information you have supplied, you could try performing a software repair on the handset, as this may be software related rather than hardware. I have supplied some backup steps and instructions for the software repair below.
software repair using Xperia Companion
Please let us know how you get on.
I tried the software companion and reset factory settings but still got the error. I've now sent my phone off for repair. Thanks for trying guys.
I'm sorry to hear that @chippy_250, I wish you the best of luck.
