Today morning i read on a website that there is a new ICS firmware update for LWW as well the rest Xperia 2011 series 4.1.B.0.587. I want to know what is the update for ? Does it fix the rest bugs left in ICS ? Thanks...

Al update from sony, in the name of ICS should be caled not firmware, but shitware.. Fixes nothing.

Why there is a notification LED if you(Sony) unable to code for new text/calls or other notifications ... ??? Remove this if are not in the state to serve your customers . last update 0n 10th august and after that you forget about it. lots of customers have posted but no solution yet. Customer support keep saying go to service centre for software update. If i am having latest software than which software u'll install on it ????

Didn't like the update. Its worthless. As jitkr said, y is the LED given? Is it just to notify the charging mode and battery low alert? We already know these things. When an message arrives, the screen doesn't flashes, atleast the LED should glow to inform about the message. Its really irritating when phone is in silent mode. Holding the home key gives us the recent apps window and we can swipe to remove any item on the list. In the default ICS it acts like a task killer but in this firmware it acts like a play toy to swipe and play, No tasks are killed.

A new firmware update is comnig for all 2011 xperia smatphone. Hopefully this new upadate will solve all common issue on 4.1.b.0.587.

thnx nd will it be available for live with walkman coz i havnt seen any news or info about that . . . . . and its also not shown in the list of 2011 xperia phones 😕
