New ICS firmware (4.1.B.0.587)

Hello friends,

                    Today morning i read on a website that there is a new ICS firmware update for LWW as well the rest Xperia 2011 series  4.1.B.0.587. I want to know what is the update for ? Does it fix the rest bugs left in ICS ?  Thanks...

was able to update to update to new firmware after many attempts....but really disappointed with LED...other features to be checked..

Try a light manager from playstore, it is working in mine,,, awesome

will try light manager, hope it works fine for me as well, even after screen goes off.

light manager can configuire only missed calls, sms, mms & battery events, but it cannot help me with other apps like - IM+, WhatsApp....Dont know why paid application LightFlow is not this capable....well something is better than nothing...thx

It will be gr8 if you could suggest sometihng for other apps IM+, etc

Hope Sony is listening and fix this.

Hello frds,

               Finally updated my LWW with the new firmware and its must to say that it has brought a lot of improvements.

Pros:

----------------

- The dialer does not lag any more.

- UI and scrolling the menu feels faster and smoother then before.

- Video recording quality has been improved.

- LED notification for missed call working. HAVN'T CHECKED IT FOR THE SMS.

Cons:

----------------

- No change in walkman application its the old one.

NOW WE CAN SAY ICS IS WORTH TO USE. HERE IT DOES NOT END FOR THE SONY GUYS.

THEY HAVN'T DELCARED ANY INFORMATION ABOUT JELLY BEAN. HOPE SONY RELEASE SOME INFO SOON.

Hi! Did you update via PC Compapnion or SUS?

Has anyone updated to the new firmware via SUS?

I have a 12 mbps internet connection at home but when i try to update via PCC it says download time remaining as more than one hour which is very annoying.

I remember i had updated to ICS .431 from SUS and it updated in just 10-15 mins. Seems like some problem with the PCC server or software.

So is it possible to update to the new firmware via SUS? Has anyone tried it? Does it work?

Hi....I updated to the new firmware via SUS for my LWW today.It is working fine,it is going to take around 15 mins.Even i had problem with  PCC server,i was getting error messsage that the server is overloaded.So after trying PCC for 2 days,today i updated via SUS.GO ahead ,you should not hav any problem.

my update was crashed accidently (lww to 4.1.B.0.587) now it wont switch on .... wat should i do ????
