MHL HDMI Connectivity

I want to connect my SP to my BRAVIA. Which (1)cable shall I buy? Also, one (2)connector is available on eBay, please suggest the cheapest option with best Audio/Video quality possible.

I don't have any previous MicroUSB to HDMI cable. The one which came with my Cybershot is even smaller than MicroUSB.

I have one more doubt. My TV is Bravia 24r402 and There are two HDMI ports given in it. One is HDMI only and other is HDMI/MHL so, what I understand that for connecting to any HDMI, this MHL-HDMI connector is required, but if you are connecting an MHL phone to an MHL port, no connector is required, and it can be connected diretly using a cable.

Is it like that?

Because on eBay, cable is available from 270 onwards but connector(box type which requires power via usb) is available 700 onwards.

Please clarify.

Thanks!

That's great, just connect your phone directly to your TV

Yeah, finally got the exact info. MHL2 cable will be required. Refer - http://docs.esupport.sony.com/imanual/NA/2013/W802A/uc_uen/mhl_smartphone.html

Hehe, but the cable which I saw for Rs.270 seems to be sold out. 😛

Also, I don't want to use connector as I think, even if my phone's MHL gives a resolution of 720p(as it is 720p itself), that will be enough, but I don't want to use any third party hardware/software as I believe it will somehow affect the quality.
