My friends, i can see you have many problems with the batery life. I don't know if any of you has noticed this, but when the phone is charging and it reaches 100%, you shouldn't remove the charger. The phone is still charging even after reaching 100%,sometimes for half an hour. If you want to see when the phone is fully charged, go to Settings-About phone-Phone status. In the first field you can find if the phone is or is not fully charged. Try this and let's see what happens. I hope i can help some of you.

Hi! I'm new here, and kinda new in experiencing Xperia P because I just recently bought this phone. In my observation, Xperia P battery drains pretty fast. One time, I charged it up to 100% (but not really 100% cause I've seen your thread that it's not really 100% until it says full in the phone status) and after a few swipings, the battery life turned down to 98 to 96 to 90 %. After putting it on idle overnyt, it turned down to 40% when i woke up. Oh well, I was very shocked. Lol. What I did was some google to search for a solution. I've tried the 100% (full) thing, the GSM only thing, and disabling the weather widget thing. And now my battery don't drain in idle mode. That was a great solution, but i don't know if the best. I'm now into rooting thing, i want to know more about those rooting for kernel, roms and cwm thing. Anybody out there who can suggest or share things they've done to their phone to achieved satisfaction? Thanks in advance. Hope somebody will reply on this!
