For all those with battery problems, try this and see what happens

My friends, i can see you have many problems with the batery life. I don't know if any of you has noticed this, but when the phone is charging and it reaches 100%, you shouldn't remove the charger. The phone is still charging even after reaching 100%,sometimes for half an hour. If you want to see when the phone is fully charged, go to Settings-About phone-Phone status. In the first field you can find if the phone is or is not fully charged. Try this and let's see what happens. I hope i can help some of you.

A settings reset i do not think will remove your contacts, but to be sure just backup them and after that reset. If you do a data reset, then everything on phone memory will be deleted, and you have the option to delete the sd card also.

I cant believe that with even minimal usage the Xperia P phones do not last long for more than a day. My usage is less, I connect to Internet 2G for say 5-10 mins a day, Bluetooth for 15mins, Calls for 2 hrs all together with this I have to charge my Xperia P every single day.

it is normal for a smartphone to drain battery like a vacuum,it has big screen and a lot of features included in a small case.Xperia P has a small battery and that makes it a little uncomfortable...

I know this, But earlier in this thread it was stated that moderate use could get 2-3 days without charging, So wondering what that magic could be so I can try to incorporate that.

for 8 hours still charging?it could be a problem.disconnect and drain the battery like you usually do,see if anything is wrong.if not, next time you charge be around the phone after 1 and 1/2 or 2 hours and see if the status says full charged.disconnect then,do not let it more.
