My friends, i can see you have many problems with the batery life. I don't know if any of you has noticed this, but when the phone is charging and it reaches 100%, you shouldn't remove the charger. The phone is still charging even after reaching 100%,sometimes for half an hour. If you want to see when the phone is fully charged, go to Settings-About phone-Phone status. In the first field you can find if the phone is or is not fully charged. Try this and let's see what happens. I hope i can help some of you.

Upgraded to ICS this morning, everything works as expected except for one thing the battery usage of the 'android OS' process is using a lot of power (45% of power usage, screen is 33%) if the device is awake.
because of this my phone has a power usage 2% per ten minutes.
(when doing nothing but keeping the phone active)
When the phone is idle it's barely using any power.
I'll see if this fixes it.
i'm glad to see that this is a good piece of advice for you.if this doesn't work, you might be forced to repair your software.
Is this normal battery usage?
I don't know if this is usable since it was only an hour on before posting this...
I can make another screenshot when it has been on for 12h if this isnt usable.
this battery use is not normal, thee os drains too much battery.disable apps like antivirus or task killer or any other app.if this doesn't work you have to repair the phone software.
None of those enabled...
I guess I'll have to do a reset..
Does that affect data stored on the "sdcard"?
nope,if you repair the software, only the phone memory will be wiped, but you have the option to erase both memories, because it is told that if you reset to factory the settings, the phone will work better.
Only used it for a few minutes but the reset seems to have resolved my problems.
The OS uses 3% now.
Thanks for your help!
