Hi.
I have a problem with my xperia L. Device memory gets full with normal usage after a couple of weeks. After it gets full, the phone is almost impossible to use; album doesn't work, new updates will not install, phone resets itself, cannot install new programs.. ETC. The only way out is, in my opinion, to make a "factory reset". But this is not how it should go with a mobile phone..
I am completely sure that this is somekind of a software bug, because my work mate is having exactly same symptoms with his phone and some other users have complained this in this forum with other words. For example:
http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/140571
http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/144006
http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/141173
Somebody explained that this is because the album app is somehow broken, other explanation would be that the phone doesn't know how to refresh the temp files...
Now I have some questions for Sony:
1. Do you recognize this problem?
2. How are you going to tackle it and what is the schedule?
3. Also, when tackling this problem, will you repair the camera software too?
Then, I would like to know if there are other users having the same problem.. By the way, the system version is 15.0.A.1.31
The only in a changelog for 15.3.A.0.26 that applied to memory problem was this line:
"- False memory notification bug is rectified"
I don't know if Sony means they have solved this problem.
Hopefully it is, but in that case it's a very, very inadequate description.
The notification is definately not False!
This might be the solution for you fulltaker, but believe me: This is NOT the root of the problem. If it works, it only will temporary.
Estimates according to what I've read are many users who have the same problem of internal memory on the computer xperia L, I acquired the product for a month and days and never imagined finding this difficulty, which appeared when upgrading android firmware 15.0 A 1.31, my question is if there is a chance you get the firmware update to Chile so you can solve this problem and hopefully sony respond and prompt solution to many of the users.
PD: Disculpen si no se entiende mucho el ingles , lo traduci por traductor de google.

SHOULD I BUY XPERIA L OR NOT GUYS...PLS GUIDE ME??????????COZ THEY R SAYING ABOUT MEMORY PROBLEM
The memory problem seems to have been solved with latest software upgrade. At least, I haven't experienced any problems since I installed it and furthermore, they now give you the option to delete the temporary app files from inside the menus, no need to root or anything.
Go buy this nice phone already!
