I have a Sony Z5 Premium Dual. #
I received a sony system software update notification this afternoon. I clicked yes, and the phone rebooted and started the update. At this point I figured it would take awhile and put the phone back in my pocket and continued about my day. About an hour later I get home and take my phone out of my pocket and it won't turn on. When I plug the phone in I get a flashing red light in the corner which tells me the phone is out of power. After leaving it plugged into the wall for a couple hours I still have the same flashing red light and it still won't power on. I've tried holding power + volume up for a hard reset but that has no effect.
Has anyone else had this same experience or know how to resolve it?

Highly doubt it was the update but you could try this
connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours > try to turn it on
So I plugged the phone in and hel the power and volume up gbuttons for about thirty seconds. The blinking red light stopped blinking. I did not get any vibration though. After that the red light never came on again. The phone still won't power on. Any other suggestions?
