Z5 no longer shows the number of notifications I have on each app

Since I have updated to Marshmallow last night, my Z5 no longer shows the number of notifications I have on each app 😞 Anyone else have this problem? Notifications still appear in the notifications bar but not on the apps themselves (the little number).

@em2evol Could you try clearing data for Xperia Home?

You can do this if you go to Settings > Apps > [menu] > Show System > Xperia Home > Storage > Clear data. Note that this will completly reset the layout of your home screen(s).

I have just noticed another problem - it keeps taking itself off silent! Not great when you're at work! 😞

Same happening to me!! I only really use WhatsApp so thats all I've noticed!

Same here, after the update the notification badge is gone! third party apps dont support it anymore. Only email and messages work for me and these are pre installed not third party apps.

I think u should put Xperia Home update through Play Store so updates could be faster and in this case an update to Xperia Home is welcome

Hey,
I have had this issue with stock Sony e-mail app. 
It was still showing unread number of e-mail no matter it was ridden. 

I tried to select them all and reclose = nothing
I tried to clear the e-mail app cache/ data = nothing (once refreshed the number appeared again)

Finally I fixed it with deleting this e-mail account and adding it again = issue fixed

I also have the same problem with my Z5 Compact, for WhatsApp badge, not showing number count for any new message received, after upgrading to Android Marshmellow.

Tried clearing XPeria Home, no luck.

Tried uninstall and re-install, no luck.

I don't use any other third party messaging or social media app.

Stock app, such as Phone, Email and Messaging works just fine.

Looking forward for a fix.

Really annoying.
