Z5 compact predictive text and swipe

Hi there, my predictive text and swipe does not work.
I have these options turned on and still nothing, i have also updated to the lastest software.i know i am being picky, but it is a tad anoying.any ideas would be great.

Are you using Xperia Keyboard as your default input method?

Go to Settings -> Language & input -> Current Keyboard -> Choose "International keyboard - Xperia keyboard"

Then to Settings -> Language & input -> Xperia Keyboard -> Gesture input -> Enable

Try refreshing your Xperia Keyboard app:
- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Xperia Keyboard -> Force stop, Unistall updates, Clear data, and restart your phone.
- Go to your Play Store and update Xperia Keyboard again.

Tried the above fix and my swipe is still not working. The green line comes across the letters but no suggested words come up, do i need to enable something else to get word suggestions?
