Z3 Compact Camera in Z3

Hi can anybody tell me if a z3 compact rear camera will work in the normal z3 I don't care if it's not flush Wil it detect and work?

That's going to be a hard one, however maybe @uliwooly may have some ideas?

However you could always try speaking with a service agent, they may be able to advise. I don't advise attempting this type of work on your device as there is a high chance it may not work afterwards.

Hey AsdaGaGlide, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and the Z3 both have the same 20.7 Megapixel camera so I would believe that the camera on the Z3 Compact would work with the Z3. Hope this helps.

It seems that it is, for what I recalled Sony advertized the Z3 Compact as being the only compact device at the time that has the same hardware as the flagship, Xperia Z3, looking around the web, it might be the same

if you don't have a heat gun, you can use a hairdryer, make sure to buy the double sided adhesive.

Hi so I asked a question simular yesterday however the part I was going to get is no longer available.

Has the xperia z2 camera hot any chance of working in a Z3? I can purchase a z2 for spares cheap so info would help thanks in advance
