Hi. Am I only one encounter with there's no "beep" sound while voluming volume up/down? It just shows volume slider, but no sound is notified.
Solved! Go to Solution.
The screenshot sound will be fixed in an upcoming update. @mrnino@almirsahbaz@em2evol@downfall
I can confirm that I have the same bug, and also when you slide one of these volume sliders, it doesn't play preview sound as it did before.
Also when you receive phone call, sound comes only from the bottom speaker.
@mrnino@almirsahbaz I don't think that is a bug, it's how it should work. Let me find out more about this.
Untill 5.1.1 while using sliders of sound control "beep" sound or volumes were played. But since 6.0 there's nothing, that's why I'm asking.
And about only bottom speaker is playing during incoming call, I thing that top speaker is playing too but significantly lower. It'll be probaly from security reasons.
It is gone in Marshmallow and I think it's great! I can't imagine why someone would like to hear a beep when you switch from silent mode to normal. Also, the beep doesn't correlate with the volume of your actual ringtone, so no harm done here.
I'm glad too, just asking if it's fault on my side or it's intended :smileysmileywink:
@mrnino@downfall@almirsahbaz In previous Android™ versions you can hear a sound when you adjust the volume using the volume key. This sound is not present in Android™ 6.0. This is intentional and not a bug.

I too am glad of this! 🙂
@alexdon
I'm experiencing something different with the sound.
For example, when I take screenshots, after first screenshot my phone doesn't reproduce shuttering sound, only after second screenshot I can hear that sound.
Same here
