Uploading files to dropbox from sony Xperia

Hello,

I wasn't able to work out how to start a new topic on this extremely complex website, so I thought I'd leave the following new message (not sure to whom):

Recently all files (images, audio, etc.) that I try to upload from my Sony Xperia phone to Dropbox are somehow transferred into text files. Dropbox says it's due to Sony. I honestly have no idea. 

Please advise,

Which Xperia do you have? are you using the app or through a browser?

Xperia Z3. I'm using the app, which was working just fine before a few days ago.

There's probably an app causing this problem. I can test it with my Z3, hold on

Does your phone has any antivirus or taskillers? 

What if you uninstall the app > restart the phone > reinstall it
