When I turn my new Sony Xperia Z5 Premium on landscape mode, I can faintly see many horizontal and vertical lines accross the screen.
But when I turn back to portrait mode, you can't really see them anymore
I tried the 4K images and video to see if it was only a down-scale issue, but it wans't. Even at 4K, I could still see them.
Lastly, I used a magnifying glass, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and I there they were, much more noticable under the magnifying glass.
It's rather annoying. I want to watch YouTube or Websites in landscape mode, but the screen will look pixelated. Reminds me of the old QVGA screens. Loses the clarity and crisp of the images, videos, etc.
Also, there seems to be dots, LEDs, I'm not really sure what they are, in my phone's screen, regardless whether my phone is turned on or off. They can be seen when light gets reflected from the screen. I did not have this problem my Z1 or Z Ultra.
If its a screen defect, please let me know, so I can return the phone while it's still brand new conditions.
Thank you

It's the moire effect of the picture on the right. Nothing more.
Hi there, as of yesterday i noticed that my phone is producing horizontal lines (very small ones) similar to what scan lines look like.
And also noticed when you go to browse or use phone horizontal lines appear also gradually, looks like the lines go where the home buttons are placed along with nay other image is showing making it look a mess.
Any idea what could be causing this?
@Quester Sure thing! you see the horizontal lines going up but als oyou see the scan lines from them and they go completley horizontal from top to bottom of the display itself
EDIT: Just noticed this has been moved to a pixel issue? I do not see any pixels like the previous poster has said before all i see are actual scan lines going through so I honestly think this is a different issue to that of this original posters comments
no one?
