When I turn my new Sony Xperia Z5 Premium on landscape mode, I can faintly see many horizontal and vertical lines accross the screen.
But when I turn back to portrait mode, you can't really see them anymore
I tried the 4K images and video to see if it was only a down-scale issue, but it wans't. Even at 4K, I could still see them.
Lastly, I used a magnifying glass, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and I there they were, much more noticable under the magnifying glass.
It's rather annoying. I want to watch YouTube or Websites in landscape mode, but the screen will look pixelated. Reminds me of the old QVGA screens. Loses the clarity and crisp of the images, videos, etc.
Also, there seems to be dots, LEDs, I'm not really sure what they are, in my phone's screen, regardless whether my phone is turned on or off. They can be seen when light gets reflected from the screen. I did not have this problem my Z1 or Z Ultra.
If its a screen defect, please let me know, so I can return the phone while it's still brand new conditions.
Thank you

Hi Guys,
That's correct, the lines are the digitizer behind the glass, and is present on all Xperia devices and viewable on different angles.
As far as I can see, those horizontal and vertical lines on your screen look pretty like smudges from your fingers. Do you use your sleeve to wipe the screen? Try using some microfibercloth or water and soap instead and the "lines" will disappear. As for the dots, they're part of the digitzer and visible on every Xperia device's screen from the right angle. I cannot notice any defects on your device.
Yes, that's perfectly normal. I've had it on all my Xperia smartphones. It's the digitizer (touch) part of the screen that's reflecting in direct sunlight.
