Repaired phone but now Cant restore back-up done w/ old PC companion 2.1. got the latest just now

I had to do software REPAIR as suggested by sony since I have problems with battery drain and touch screen sensitivity. Using my PC COMPANION (Old version-2.1).

First step i followed was the BACK-UP, I did the back-up successfully and had it saved as sonytm xperia z1 c6903.dbk in my laptop.

Secondly, i did the REPAIR/RESET, which was also successful. But then, when I tried to do the RESTORE, PC COMPANION 2.1 was not opening. So I updated it to the latest software but keeps on saying INSTALLATION ERROR.

Then, I downloaded the LATEST XPERIA COMPANION from the SONY website. Got the software, it read my phone but when I was trying to load the .dbk file of my previous back-up, this keeps on popping.

Error code: PCCBackupFailed
CompanionBR 1432

SO NOW, I'm really frustrated thinking my Contacts, notes and other data are already backed-up but then cant be restored..:(.. Hope someone can help me with this..

Sorry java download restoreData.jar from Google then past it on destop and then past ur file in applications in dbk file after converting it to rar and inside u will find file name fullpackupdata some thing like that place it on destop too now run restoreData.jar file and another file name restoreData.tar will be created
Make sure u have java and after opening with rar u will find ur vcard back as contacts and many more
