Hi all,
I bought a Xperia Z5 less than a week ago.
And today whilst using it (internet I believe), it shut down with >50% battery remaining. I couldn't turn it on.
I tried charging it via USB and PC, didn't work. Once back home, I charged it for like 40 minutes then tried turning it on. It didn't show any sign of charging (except del blinking or staying red for few seconds at times). I've tried the 120 seconds restart too. I never saw the charging icon. I've tried volume up + power button, took my SD out. Nothing. Should I try factory reset (PCC doesn't seem to recognise it atm, even though I used it yesterday to copy my old phone, process which stopped in the middle and never finished), or should I bring it back to the vendor ?
All help appreciated,
Regards.

Thanks for your help
But my local seller exchanged it this morning...
I published this message yesterday before going to sleep, is there a way to closing the topic because the issue got fixed by having a new phone ?
Try this
Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours > if that doesn't work then contact your Local support or the seller
