Perform a repair installation using Xperia companion but leave the phone off and connect it by holding volume down when you plug in USB.
If that fails..

Did you checked the link/Guide?

If nothing works for you, you could probably stop by the store where you bought the phone, or your Local support

Why do you hate Sony? because Sony is protecting your private data? if someone takes your phone and press some "red button" it will reset the phone and will be able to use it, that doesn't make sense, this is the same with other smartphones, there aren't red buttons to factory reset the devices.

You hate Sony because YOU forgot your password? Also, there's NO way that you are using an Android device without having a Gmail account.

Hi @BSL53,

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with this. I would just like to confirm that the information @uliwooly and @Viridis provided you is correct.

If you have to run the software repair, you will have to sign in to the Google account that was associated with the phone when it's reset. This is a data protection and anti-theft measure and it can not be bypassed.

If you can not remember the Google account that was associated with your device before you reset it, then you will have to contact your local support team to arrange a repair.
