People can't hear me during calls! PLEASE HELP!

Hey! Guys I have been using Sony Xperia Z1 since September last year and I am having a problem currently in which my voice clarity according to the people on the other line is blurry/not audible or not just clear seems to be some problem with my speaker i ran a diagnostic test and it passed all i can hear people when i use loud speaker and they can hear me back but when it comes to normal calls without the loud speaker they can't hear a thing please help although my headphones work when i call people thats the only way I am calling people right now!

I am having the same problem after updated to lollipop on my Z1s, nobody can hear me on incoming nor outgoing calls, but on Google search by voice, or voice recorder, it's working perfectly, so there is nothing wrong with my mic or transmitter on my phone. I have tried factory reset several times, but problem insisted, on top of the cannot be heard problem, every time after the phone is turned off, the display and sound settings will go back to defaults.
I wished that I did not do the update at all.
ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.

This has happened to me now on a few different occasions.  I receive or make calls and the person on the other side cannot hear me.  Is this something to do with the model of phone?

I only bought the phone on February 8th and haven't dropped it or anything....

Please help me get this sorted!

I have the same problem and have tried everything in this post but it's still the same. I'm sure it happened after the lollypop upgrade but an not 100% sure.

I have tried the mircophone test and I can't hear anything. I have turned off the Go Google.

It's really annoying me now as whats the point in having a phone where people can't hear you talking.

Solved.... Was the mic noise suppression thing, now the other side of the line can hear me clear. Thanks @Thommo.

Callers couldn't hear my voice using my sony M4 after android 6.0.1 update. Turned off the microphone noise supression in call settings and now all is fine and crystal clear. Many thanks for this very grateful

Hi I have Sony Xperia now for 1 year and never had any problems until 2 days ago , sudenly nobody an hear me and I an hear everybody just fine, phone is working otherwise...  

I tried what you advised the other guy but got stak , I did find Google settings but dont understand what then, I ant find any ok Google and while in Settings I ant type anything in order to Searh... an you help me pls explaiing better what to do? Eureka. Nearly sent the Sony mobile back to amazon, but turning off the ok google voice recognition, fixed it for me. There must be an issue with this optiong. Hello, Sony IT. Can you please check this out, and sort out the glitch no more ok google for us. many thanks for the tip
