Hi @Schnuppl,

Your issue is not the same of which reported initially.

If your LED lights only when you charge the device, on Android 7.1.1 try to go in Settings > Notifications > gear icon and control if there is enabled the switch "notification light".

Thanks for your hint.

This is what I did, "switch on" the notification light. But it has not worked.

In meantime the my Sony Z5 is sold.

The same as mine. It was turned on but did not work. (After installation Android 7)

Hi @Schnuppl,

I really suggest you to plug your device to the PC and perform a Software Repair.

I know it could be annojing, but certanly this will resolve your problem.

First, make a backup as request before start the repair process.
