No more sound notifications

Since few days when i receive text the sound notification work no more. I didn t manager tout fix it....any ideas?

Hi @Naad13,

I'm sorry to hear about this.

Can you remember if this started to happen after you updated your phone or installed an application? Does the sound notification work for other applications, such as calender and email?

First of all I would like you to check if the application is blocked from sending notifications. To check this go to Settings > Sound & notification > App notifications. Scroll to the right until you get to "All", scroll down and find Messaging (i'ts listed alphabetically). Is the feature "Block all" enabled? If it is, press on it and it will disable this feature. When the feature is turned off you can either send a text message to yourself or ask a colleague, friend or family member to send you one to see if you get a sound notification.

If the application isn't blocked from sending notifications I would recommend that you reboot your phone in safe mode to see if there is a third party application that is the cause of you not receiving any notification.

Will there ever be a fix to the phone not ringing? I've tried everything and nothing works
..
I know this a problem for many users. Sony should really fix this

Contact your Local support to get your device inspected, don't assume that you are experiencing the same issue as other users, which other users are you referring to, since this is your first post?
