I updated my wife's Z3+ this morning (my Z3+ was successfully updated last week), and the phone was working OK after that. Tonight, she got a message about updating security in Gmail, and cannnot remember exactly what she did, but when she next looked at her phone it was locked with MXTP. Entering her correct Gmail address (using both @gmail and @googlemail) and her correct password, on pressing the Activate button, gives the message "Incorrect email or password". In the past I had made sure that MXTP was disabled because of the major problems that others had had. We now have a phone that cannot be used for snything, with MXTP having been activated without our consent, and locked with a password that we have not created - and no-one else has been near the phone. My wife is a GP and needs this phone to take urgent calls from patients - please can a Sony rep advise immediately what to do. ALSO, please advise how to remove this awful piece of software MXTP from our phones - many others have had similar problems of being locked out of their phones by it incorrectly.
