Hi guys, I dirty-flashed Marsmallow this morning (Flashtool) and everything's working flawlessly so far, except that little bug I noticed:
As you can see in the "Battery usage" screens, the "Screen" and "Cell standby" icons are missing and are replaced by grey rectangles.
Do you notice the same issue?

@92@Dominic81@iSilverBullet guys, this has been escalated. Do not repair or anything.
EDIT: Can you guys please keep one issue per thread? The small apps issue is here:
/t5/Xperia-Z5-Z5-Compact-Z5-Premium/Android-6-0-small-apps-launch-bar-issue/m-p/1101370#M11938
that's odd, could you restart the device and report back, if possible flash it again.
Thanks uli for your reply. This morning I dirty-flashed the "Customized RU" (Russian) firmware on my unlocked Z5, as I know it's one of the versions that contains the less "bloat" (understand 3rd party apps I don't need and operator specific stuff).
I will give a try to the "Customized TH" (Thailand) firmware (that's what was originally installed on my Z5 when I got it) and report back.
I guess I will probably have to clean-flash to get rid of that problem in the end. That's a shame: I wiped everything and clean-flashed Lollipop last week
Other than that small cosmetic "bug" (and I think I'm alone with it), I'm pretty happy so far with the MM firmware. My phone is finally the fast and snappy device I expected when I got it! And most of all, I can FINALLY listen to my music/podcasts in my car! Bluetooth issues are totally fixed. Yay!
Edit: Xperifirm firmware just finished downloading. I'm flashing at the moment
Time to clean-flash I guess
Thanks for your input 92.
Out of curiosity,
Are you using a 3rd party theme?
Did you get MM via OTA or did you install it using Flashtool?
If you used Flashtool, clean or dirty flash?
I'm trying to figure out what could cause this behavior. If the problem is widespread, I won't lose my time clean-flashing everything, re-installing everything, etc. to come up with the same result in the end
Concerning your small apps "overlay" problem, you're the alone. The issue has been reported by some users on XDA already. Unfortunately I can't help you, I don't use Small Apps (adb shell pm hide ...)
I guess Sony will release an update in a near future to fix all these little quirks
Thanks iSilverBullet. I guess it pretty much confirms that it's a problem with the firmware and not a problem caused by the way you install it (OTA, Flashtool, etc.), or a 3rd party theme, etc.
Fortunately, it's more cosmetic than a "usability" bug. Sony will maybe fix it in the coming weeks
